Thomas & Erica's Savannah Session
Updated: Jul 4, 2021

Over the past year life has been different for all of us. Adjustments have been made and it hasn't always been easy. Especially for ones who had big upcoming plans, like weddings and honeymoons!
This newlywed couple had to wait on a European excursion, however they turned that disappointment into an opportunity! They planned mini moons for themselves while they wait on Europe. That is how I had the pleasure of meeting them. They flew down to the southern state of Georgia to celebrate their marriage in the charming City of Savannah!

Thomas and Erica are just as sweet as they look in their photos! I enjoyed the time I spent with them.
The day started in typical Georgia style by threating thunderstorms. Thankfully the rain held off and sun was shinning just for them. We took a quick circle through Savannah's famously beautiful Forsyth Park.
We started at the majestic historic fountain! The fountain makes the perfect backdrop for some very romantic images!

When I asked about dipping poses they told me they were dipping pros and they were right! They killed it in the sweetest way! I don't know if they noticed or heard the passersby's smiles and comments of "look how sweet" and "aren't they are beautiful" and they are!
How many people can say they had a honeymoon shoot in historic Savannah in front of the famous fountain...they can!
After we took a walk through Forsyth Park we headed over to historic Wormsloe to finish the Savannah session with some classic south Georgia views!
Historic Wormsloe offers that dreamy vibe perfect for newlyweds to be photographed in!

During the session I found out they have a love for traveling and can't wait to explore more places together. I thought their idea of taking a mini honeymoon to Savanah was a fabulous idea! The session took place at the start of their visit, yet they already started to fall in love with Savannah!

I hope they will always remember how they got to stroll down the prettiest road in Georgia together as husband and wife!
One of the things I remember is how they looked at each other! It was full of such genuine admiration for each other. Even in the little moments between the shots!

Do you see the way he is looking at her?
Look at how loved she is!
How about how she looks at him?
He is one blessed guy!
Look at how they look at each other!
Love that was ever present in the summer Georgia air!
I was blessed to meet this sweet, fun couple! I want to wish them a lifetime of happy adventures together!
It was my pleasure to photograph their first trip to Savannah GA and I hope its not their last!
