Senior Photo Session
Style Guide

Colors:
I personally recommend neutral colors.
Example: whites, beiges, tans, grays, periwinkle, sage green and light blush. With the exception of wearing your school colors, that is always welcomed!
Patterns:
Solids, small to medium florals or polka dots and simple or boho lace.
What not to wear:
Unless it's your school logo don't wear logos, words, shiny or metallic material, No mixed patterns (example: stripes w/ florals) or very bright bold colors.
Accessories:
Accessories add great versatility to your session. Don't forget to add a cute belt, jewelry, or hats!
Hats: If you want to wear a hat, please bring it with you rather than wearing it to the session. This way we can do some photos before any hat hair happens.
Hair & Make-up:
Simple makeup photographs best. But please do yourself up in a way that makes you feel good.
Other:
Remember to just be mindful of things like the weather, temperature, and photo session location. We don't want any overheating, freezing or tripping!
Girls Guide
What to Wear:
Pick something you feel comfortable and confident in. Something you can move freely in and shows off your personality.
Ideas: Dresses, Rompers, Jeans & Shorts with Top, Your Sport or Work Uniform...really anything goes!
Clothing Store Suggestions:
Piper & Scoot | Women's Clothing: Dresses, Jumpsuits, Shoes & More (piperandscoot.com)
Self Conscious Concerns:
Flattering the Arms-Try three quarter length sleeves & layer with jackets or sweaters. Avoid very thin straps, small cap sleeves or sleeveless tops
Flattering the Legs-Try Skirts that hit right at or just above the knee, jumpsuits or dresses that end just at or slightly above your ankles. If wearing ripped jeans be sure the rips are in different spots on each leg. Ex-one leg has a rip just above knee and the other leg has a rip below the knee
Avoid-dresses that too tight, skirts and dresses that end mid thigh or mid calf, jumpsuits that end mid calf, jeans with an even rip on both knees- you wan the worn or ripped spots spread out
Flattering the Belly-Try solid colors, open jackets, belts worn on thinnest part of your mid section, well fitting tops
Avoid- undergarments that are too tight, horizontal stripes, tops are that too loose or baggy because they can cause you to look bigger than you are.
Undergarments:
Well-fitting undergarments are important!
Undergarments that are too tight will give your body unwanted bumps, and lines.
If too loose they tend to slip around and can be seen.
Undergarment's color should not be seen through your clothing choice.
Shoes:
Shoes are up to you, but if you choose to be photographed in heels or barefoot, please bring slippers or sandals to wear for walking in between photos.
Jackets:
Think simple, a solid pattern, example a jean or leather jacket.
