Forsyth Park Spans 30 Acres Making it Savannah’s largest Public Park! There are Many Beautiful Backdrops in This Park Including the Large Famous Fountain, the Old Fort Fragrant Garden, the Historic Buildings Along the Streets Surrounding the Park & the Sidewalks Lined with Live Oak Trees Dripping in Spanish Moss.

This Park Has So Much to Offer!

The Savannah Historic District Has Twenty-Two Beautiful Squares. They are Located at Street Intersections & Are About 200 Feet Long & Wide. They Literally Are Squares Filled with Grass, Trees, Benches & Monuments! Each Has its Own Name & Unique Beauty.

Personally, I Think These Squares are What Make the Historic Downtown So Special! 

My Favorite Squares for Photo Sessions:

-Chatham Square

-Pulaski Square 

-Monterey Square 

-Orleans Square

-Lafayette Square

-Jones Street

Fun Facts About This Location:

The Tybee lighthouse is the Tallest and Oldest in the State of Georgia and is Still-Functioning! You can climb the Lighthouse and Visit the Museum Located There. You Can Also Visit Fort Screven a Former Military Post, Which Also Has a Museum and Lighthouse. Nearby and Just Before Tybee You Can Visit Fort Pulaski National Monument. Tybee Also Has a Marine Center You Can Explore. But of Course the Reason to Come is for the Beach! There is Several Beach Access Points Along the Island. Some of the Most Visited are Mid Beach and the Beach Pier.

Historic Wormsloe Site

Fun Facts About This Location:

This is a Highly Requested Photo Location. This Location is Famous for the Gorgeous Oak Lined Avenue. This Site is 882 Acres & Home to the Oldest Ruins in Savannah. Wormsloe was a Plantation Established by Noble Jones One of Georgia's Founders. The State of Georgia Acquired Most of the Wormsloe Property in 1973 & Then Turned it Into a State Historic Site in 1979. Today There is a Small Museum, Gift Shop, Walking Trails & Picnic Tables for Visitors to Enjoy.

-Bike Rentals Available Either for Fun Photos Or For You To Enjoy Afterwards

-The Oak Avenue is Walking Trail with a Small Trolly

-No Paved Areas - Photos Will All Be Done on Dirt & Grass

-I Can't Promise People Won't be in the Background of a Few of Your Images

-Site is Normally Too Busy for Photos on Saturdays & Sundays

-9am - 11am is the Best Times For Photos

-Site is Only Open 9:00am - 4:30pm

The Downtown has Been Featured in a Few Movies Including the 1995 Movie 'Now & Then" & The City was the Inspiration for the Song 'Statesboro Blues' Written by Blind Willie McTell & Covered by the Allman Brothers Band.

Statesboro's Botantical Garden is Part of Georgia Southern University. It Originally was the Farmstead of Dan and Catharine Bland. It is Now 11 Acres of Beautifully Landscaped Garden Areas & Trails. This Location is a Popular Local Wedding Venue.
