A Beachside Adventure: Capturing Precious Family Moments Amidst Stormy Skies

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family session at Tybee Island in Savannah Georgia. Despite a week filled with rain and storms, this extended family session turned into an adventure brimming with love, laughter, and a cool stormy backdrop.


Tybee Island beach, with its soft sands, crashing waves, and breathtaking views, beckoned as the ideal backdrop for capturing precious family moments. The allure of the beach is irresistible, providing a serene and natural setting for families to connect and create lifelong memories.


The weather had it's own plans for the week, with storms persistently making their presence ever felt. As a photographer, adapting to unforeseen weather conditions is part of the job. With flexibility, we navigated the ever-changing forecast, determined to capture the joy and togetherness of this family! They were all amazing and we did it!


We embraced the still stormy skies as a unique opportunity to create dramatic and memorable images. The family's love and connection radiated through the camera lens.

This family was complete with parents, siblings, uncles, grandmother and energetic children who were ready to explore and have fun.

Despite the challenges posed by rain and stormy skies, this family embraced the opportunity to create family memories! As a photographer, my goal is to freeze moments in time, creating images that families will cherish. I hope they will enjoy these memories and images captured! Headshot Session for a Local Businessman

In the ever-evolving world of business, a strong professional image plays a pivotal role in making a lasting impression. I recently had the privilege of capturing Mr. Frank Arena, the owner behind an exciting upcoming local business. The experience was a journey that allowed me to showcase his unique qualities and convey his confidence and professionalism. Join me as I share the story and images behind this session.


From the moment I met with Frank I could sense his ambition and determination. Before the session, we engaged in conversation to understand his professional goals, target audience, and the image he wanted to project. This initial connection enabled me to tailor the session specifically to his needs.


Choosing the right location for a headshot session is also important. Since he is working closely with The Business Innovation Group at Georgia Southern University we had the help of the amazing Mrs. Catherine Blake who suggested a building on campus. I decided on a blend of outdoor and indoor settings that reflected the industry and personality.


Creating a comfortable environment is important for capturing authentic headshots, however it isn't easy when I have a camera in someones face! I try my best to help ones feel at ease, by listening, joking and allowing a clients true character to shine through. By blending natural, candid moments with structured poses, we created a diverse range of headshots that captured his multifaceted personality.
